Carrières Plo in the Tarn area
We extract the granit TARN SILVERSTAR at Saint-Salvy-de-la-Balme for over 35 years, it is the largest quarry of granite in the Tarn. We produce 20 000 cubic metre of blocks per year or half of the total production of granite in the Tarn.

Nationaly we represent a quarter of the French production of Granite. This shows the importance of the quarry. We have our own sawing factory in order to propose slabs in all dimensions and thicknesses.

Our material benefits from the trademark “Product of the Regional Natural Reserve of Haut-Languedoc” which highlights our work in its environmental, territorial and human values.
